Super storm Sandy 2012 brought much devastation to the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). The heavy rains and winds had caused major flooding, power outages, and major damage to homes because of the large trees that had fallen. For many homeowners in Long Island, LIPA officials assisted in the removal of SOLEY tree limbs entangled in power lines. In the majority of cases all tree debris, including the tree shaft with no limbs, were left for the homeowner to dispose of. Clearview Tree and Land was one of the few companies to help in the disposal of trees after being partially cut by LIPA. However, it seems there is still more cleanup to be done.
Our company continues to receive calls from property owners requesting that such tree debris be cleared from their property. We are able to dispose of the wood in an eco-friendly manner, by allowing a recycling plant to recycle the material for future use.
