Do you have a “city tree” that has branches/limbs hanging over your roof and/or property line? Clearview Tree and Land can remedy any issues a property owner may be encountering with a city-owned tree.
Because the New York City Parks Dept. has very strict regulations when it comes to touching a city-owned tree, it is important to hire a professional tree company that is knowledgeable of the permit process. Our company has been pruning, removing, and planting city trees for over a decade. We are fully aware of the paperwork that needs to be filed with NYC Parks Dept., therefore, we can make the process much smoother for homeowners and/or contractors. The process is quite simple.
First, Clearview Tree and Land must send a representative to assess the tree in question and provide the property owner with a FREE estimate. Second, upon approval, our office may request site plans and/or any paperwork needed for the permit application. Third, our office will file for a permit with the appropriate forestry dept. within the NYC Parks Dept. (i.e. Queens Forestry, Brooklyn Forestry, Tree Planting Division, etc.). The approval process can take 4-6 weeks depending on the current season. Once the permit is received, the requested city tree pruning, city tree removal, or city tree planting service can be performed, while still following the regulation set by the forestry dept.
